I never knew that all my music education and experience would end like this. I started to djing in 2019, when a group of friends united by musical production started meeting in person to listen and make music. In this meetings at some point that I don't remember one of my friends brought a Dj Controller, a Numark Mixtrack Pro. Everyone in that group knew how to mix music except for me, then the whole group started to teach me on his own manner. I was an apprentice for about half a year. I had my first gig in January 2020, a charity event in favor of community kitchens in Lo Espejo. In that moment I knew that being a DJ is my dream job. Nowadays, I play constantly at different parties, also I've made my own party "Subalterna" last weekend. Now that I'm experienced at this work I know that the skills that you need to work on this go beyond mixing technique, you need to calm down your nerves everytime you play in front of people if you want to things go well. When the teacher gave the instructions for the second post it came inmediatly to my mind. The Merca Bae's side show on Favela Clash. Merca Bae came to Chile to play on Primavera Sound 2022, his show was cancelled due incidents outside the event but he performed a side show on a party called Favela Clash. I started to listen his music when I was like 17 or 18, he's one of those artists who do not reach the mainstream but who influence world music from the underground, I think he's the artist who brought dancehall comeback and changed reggaetón music for ever.   His show was epic! He started playing some ambient and slow reggaetón jams, then started with his classics, "bubbaloo", "morder" and another dancehall tunes. The third part of the show was focused on genres like tribal, guaracha and techno. I was also booked for that show, I was the second Dj on the lineup and the people didn't arrive till my show started, so my experience was turning on the cr

POST 1: A country I would like to visit

I would like to visit México for many reasons. First for the culture, starting with prehispanic art, muralism, contemporany art but the most important one is the music. They have many genres and subgenres who receive influence from different places and ages. Like Tribal that comes from Aztec music, or Post-Reggaetón that comes directly from Internet Culture. There's a big electronic music scene in Mexico City, then my plan is go to the different parties that the city offers and do my job as a Dj. I'm actually planning a tour on Mexico, I'll arrive on Mexico City and move around to visit cities like Puebla, Pachuca and Toluca. I'm also thinking to visit more distant cities like Guadalajara and Monterrey it all depends if they book me or not, but I'm already in conversations with a club called "Secreto" in Monterrey, they have a party called "Club Viral" hosted by the mexican Dj Zut-Zut. Im also visiting the antroplogy museum, to see the aztec cale
